FEBRUARY 2008

Hi everyone and thank you for logging on to my website. It has seemed a long winter and now we can look forward to the 2008 shows. They are not that far away. You will already be grooming and preparing your secret weapon or moving machine for the big stage so good luck to all of you.

I have recently bought a new Camera and invested in other equipment. In preparation for the new showing season I have spent many hours practicing and familiarising myself with the new camera as well as continual studying of the art of photography.

I am really looking forward to the up and coming shows and hope that you will see some improvement in my photos this year. I managed to get ring access at a few shows last year and this is where I took my best photographs so a big thank you goes out to the show organisers who were brave enough to give me this opportunity. Thank you especially to the committee of the Midland Festival show as they were the first to break the mould.

Thanks also to the many Arabian horse exhibitors for their kind words, it seemed overall they were happy to have another view of their horses.

After giving it much thought over the winter I have decided not to cover shows in an “official photographer” capacity. Its really not the type of photography that I would like to persue, as every exhibitor expects a photographic record of their horse on the day whether looking good or bad and I really don`t like taking shots of horses that look less than average.

I would like to thank all who have bought photographs from me in the past and hope for your continued support in the future. Looking forward to seeing you all soon so please say hello.
